About Me

Hello! My name is Dylan McKim and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I am currently a senior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. I am Politics reporter for the Phoenix Bureau of Cronkite News. This year I will spend a lot of time being a general assignment reporter working on coronavirus coverage and election coverage. I have interned with various outlets, including KPNX Channel 12News, The Arizona Republic, and Arizona PBS. I have gained a lot of experience with breaking news reporting, investigative reporting, and producing a half-hour show.

I am a big Houston sports fan, love watching movies, and spending time with my family and dogs!
